Coach Ivan Rojas has studied systems around the world and is the genius behind adapting classic training systems to any athlete and any US lifter. He is one of the few American coaches to actually have studied the most secretive, ellusive training systems around the world. While many American coaches will write about the Bulgarian system-- having never set foot in Bulgaria or trained with a Bulgarian coach, Ivan has actually studied the Bulgarian system in Bulgaria. He studied East German training in East Germany (both before and after the iron curtain). He has studied the Soviet System in Russia and the Chinese system in China. Ivan completed formal coaching training in Cuba.
Ivan prefers the Cuban system as it is the only system which is built around working with what athletes you have and building their individual strengths. With this mentality, Ivan has been able to adapt training to any athlete, at any age, and at any level.
