2008 Olympic Trials

It was awesome feeling to return to GA Tech, where I received my BS in Aerospace Engineering, to lift at the 2008 Olympic Trials. It was fun to lift on the same stage where I once played my violin in the GTSO. Definitely, this has been an interesting competition year, 3 national meets within 3 months of eachother (nationals, collegiates and Olympic Trials).


The Olympic Trials was also the strangest meet I lifted at- no medals, no placings, 3 sessions based on qualification rankings (best of American Open and nationals results) which were different from the, at the time, current state Olympic rankings (nationals only).
