Gettin' Technical

At Risto Sports, we added a new feature, for just $10 bucks, send us video of your snatch and claen and jerk, and we will send you technical corrections. http://www.ristosports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=116

I remember lifting as a junior lifter-- I trained by myself and had no idea what I was doing the closest coach was 45 min away, which might as well be 6 hours away for a kid without a car. Worse, youtube wasn't aroud, so all I had to go off of for technique were lifting sequences in Denis Reno magazines or old video taped excerpts of the Olympics  ( a lot of us forget that the internet didn't become ubiquitous and useful till around 2000).   I can't even describe how much wasted toiling I suffered for lack of accessible wieghlifting technical resources.

Even so, it is sooooo harrrd to fix your own technique.  So, you really need to do what fortune 500 companies do--get an outside point of view.

So, for those who don't have a coach or just want a second opinion, we're offering a service for $10.  Some quick feedback on your bar path, potential strength issues, etc.

For the frugalist, the $10 analysis is kind of like going wine tasting-- taste the wine, then buy the bottle. If you want the whole she-bang, we do have a program questionnaire as well as a custom training cycle offered on our website.

This is my good-weightlifting-kharma action of the week-- providing easily accessible weightlifting feedback.

While I am harping on technique--- the best thing you can do for your lifting is keep the bar as close to you as possible when lifting, and to pull high.
