Thank You
Hi,
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all the people who complimented me on my Second Place Snatch of 81kg at the American Open. I also appreciated all the cheers, and it DID make a difference to me.
For me, anything less than 3 perfect snatches is a not good day. So, I'm learning to be less of an engineer-ie constantly over analyzing how my linear regression projected X-- and accept the compliments
I don't know, it wasn't my best meet--I mean there are days when I'm on fire and no one seems to notice-- but I think it was something, the fight of saving an off-kilter catch and refusing to give up. I think I made a statement as I'm consistently doing over 80kg in the snatch.
A funny thing did happen, someone did compliment me because they thought I was a Master (no, I'm not a Master, I'm 30). It's interesting, because I either get that I look like I'm 25 or 35--usually, 25 when I'm in spandex and 35 when I'm in a business suit. No worries, I'll be lifting a lot more when I'm 35 ;)
Thank You.
